Publication
This is 5 giclee print's is based on local Plymouth folklore (Plymstock, Radford). It features the tale of a ‘Lady’ who was drowned in Radford Lake in the 18th century. Ever since her death, there have been oral accounts of a woman in a white dress seen in and around the area where she died.
The artist has also devised and performed a contemporary dance work, shot on location for a moving image work of the same name, with sound taken from Rosemarie’s text of the story. These photographic prints recall's the narrative and sites of the myth and the performative spaces of the film. This body of work is part of an effort to reconstruct local histories and place Radford on the map.
